Power in simplicity.

Who we are

Who we are

amina makes EV charging hardware in Norway.

We design chargers that are small, quiet and honest about what they do, then keep them open. Every connected amina speaks OCPP straight to the platform you already run, with no amina cloud in the middle, so operators keep control of their own stack. Good hardware, open by default. We have built the company around it.

Product principles

1.

Design and integration

We design chargers people are happy to have on the wall, then keep them open so they drop into any home or operator setup, now and later. Connected models speak OCPP directly, so you are not tied to one app or one cloud.

2.

Safety and compliance

We build to the standards that matter and keep ahead of the ones coming next. amina M carries a MID-certified meter, so billing stands up to scrutiny. The connected range is AFIR-ready and built to ISO 15118-20, which means Plug and Charge and bidirectional charging both work today, not at some point later.

3.

Production and sustainability

The chargers are made in Norway on an energy-efficient line, using as little material as the job allows.

Built by people who have done this before

The people behind amina come from the EV charging industry. Small team, working out of Stavanger, Copenhagen and Amsterdam, with one remit: make good hardware and keep it open.
